Tehran gallery to showcase African masks, sculptures

An exhibition of traditional African masks and sculptures by artists from Ivory Coast will open at Tehran’s CAMA – Contemporary and Modern Art Gallery on December 7.

Thirty masks and 20 sculptures created by different tribes living in the West African country will be put on display at the exhibit entitled “Côte d’Ivoire”.

The exhibit is organized in collaboration with the cultural section of the Embassy of Ivory Coast in Tehran.

The exhibition will be running until December 17 at the gallery located at No. 44, 10th Golestan, Pasdaran St.
