Insurance is a contract whereby one party (the insurer) promises that in exchange for payment(s) from other side (insured or policyholder) in the event of an accident or damages or loss to compensate him or pay in a certain way. The amount of money to be charged for a certain amount of insurance coverage is called the premium.

One of the serious lacks of the artistic society and in fact one of the risks that the cultural treasure faces in the country, is the lack of institution to insure artworks and cultural properties. Despite the existence of powerful insurance companies, lacking a good insurance in this section only is because of the lack of an institution in charge of valuation and authentication of artworks and cultural properties. "Honarbaan Apadana" with a commitment to its main mission, which is to preserve and protect the cultural treasure and to support art and culture economic cycle, by relying on the most prestigious insurance institutions, tries to provide Insurance Services for artists, collectors, owners of valuable cultural treasure and practitioners in the field and to facilitate and develop thepractical processes based on international standards, will connect the missing link in the chain of art and cultural services. With respect to those facts and given the art market boom in the country, the need for such an institute is obvious. "Honarbaan Apadana" in collaboration with some of well-known and prestigious private Banks in Iran, after value and authenticate the works will provide insurance services to them. Although these artworks have higher intellectual value than any financial value, and in case of robbery, accident or any loss and damage during transportation, a piece of cultural treasure of the country has been lost, but at lease the owner of the piece will be supported financially and morally.
